Dallas Myers serves as the Post-Secondary Transition Coordinator for Wyoming Virtual Academy. In this role, he helps students plan for life after high school by guiding them toward education, career, and independent living opportunities.
Dallas earned a BS in Vocational Agriculture from the University of Wyoming (1992), an MS in Educational Leadership from Emporia State University (2005), and an MS in Special Education (2005). He completed doctoral coursework (ABD) in Educational Leadership at the University of Wyoming in 2012.
Over the course of his 32-year career in education, Dallas has served in a wide range of roles: 4 years as an Agriculture teacher, 9 years as a Math/Science/Special Education teacher, 5 years as a high school administrator, and 14 years as a Special Education Director. He is also a certified VitalSmarts Crucial Conversations trainer and a Maxwell Leadership trainer, providing professional development to educators statewide in effective communication, compliance, and instructional practices.
Passionate about preparing students for their future, Dallas works closely with families, schools, and community partners to build meaningful opportunities that connect learning with real-world applications. Outside of work, he enjoys Wyoming’s outdoors, time with family, and sharing his love of agriculture and stewardship with students and educators across the state
