Community and Events

Throughout the school year, WYVA staff, students and parents gather together locally to celebrate successes, plan for the future, share tips and advice and have fun. We also provide regular information sessions, both online and in-person-where you can learn more about our school and the Stride K12 curriculum. Annual in-person events include:

  • Welcome Back to School Picnics
  • Pumpkin Path and Ice Cream Social Gatherings
  • Prom
  • Women in STEM
  • Graduation

We welcome you to learn more about the Wyoming Virtual Academy community by spending time with our community and attending an information session, where you'll get answers to all your questions.

We also provide Parent Orientation Sessions for newly enrollend families.

At WYVA we strongly encourage and support our students with social-emotional connections. All Wyoming Virtual Academy students are able to participate in their local districts for sports and activities by Wyoming State Statute.

Additionally, we have several virtual opportunities we offer throughout the school for students to connect with their peers.
